It achieved a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,167.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Admittedly, works by Jerry Schatzberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'' in April 2014 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,277.58).

Die Arbeit Super Star, Edie Sedgwick von Jerry Schatzberg wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.167,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jerry Schatzberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'' im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.277,58).
