The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,895.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jerry Schatzberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'' in April 2014 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,277.58).
