Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, Behind the Scenes (large hat profile) by Jerry Schatzberg was sold in the Tailor-Made: Fashion Photographs from the Collection of Peter Fetterman auction at Phillips in an online auction in June 2020. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,895.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jerry Schatzberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'' in April 2014 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,277.58).

Die Arbeit Untitled, Behind the Scenes (large hat profile) von Jerry Schatzberg wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Tailor-Made: Fashion Photographs from the Collection of Peter Fetterman bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.895,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jerry Schatzberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'' im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.277,58).
