The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,820.00 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jerry Schatzberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'', which sold at auction in April 2014 for USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,277.58).

Die Arbeit Behind the Scenes (Large hat profile), Paris, 1962 von Jerry Schatzberg wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fashion Photographs from the Susanne von Meiss collection bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.820,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jerry Schatzberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Bob Dylan 'Smoke'' beobachtet, die im April 2014 für USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.277,58) versteigert wurde.
