Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jeremy Deller was sold in the Contemporary Art Day auction at Phillips in London in October 2009. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,094.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeremy Deller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Uses of Literacy in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 77,422.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jeremy Deller wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.094,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeremy Deller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Uses of Literacy im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 77.422,05).
