Upper estimate price exceeded by 67 %.
The work Torso by Jeff Wall was auctioned at Phillips in New York in July 2020. It achieved a price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,547.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeff Wall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dead Troops Talk (A vision after an ambush of a Red Army patrol, near Moqor, Afghanistan, winter 1986) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 3,666,500.00 (€ 2,965,464.25).
