Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jedd Garet could be acquired at Christies in Paris in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Interior with Blue Curtain changed hands for GBP 378.00 (€ 441.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jedd Garet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Behind the Table, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,699.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jedd Garet konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Interior with Blue Curtain für GBP 378,00 (€ 441,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jedd Garet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Behind the Table beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für USD 2.016,00 (€ 1.699,26) versteigert wurde.
