Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jedd Garet could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 505.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jedd Garet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Behind the Table, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,699.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jedd Garet konnte im Januar 2008 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 750,00 (€ 505,36) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jedd Garet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Behind the Table beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für USD 2.016,00 (€ 1.699,26) versteigert wurde.
