Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Une sélection des fleurs du mal by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of NLG 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of NLG 327.66 (€ 153.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 5,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Une sélection des fleurs du mal von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting wurde im November 2000 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von NLG 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von NLG 327,66 (€ 153,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.975,00.
