Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A bouquet of flowers by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,673.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 5,975.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A bouquet of flowers von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.673,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 5.975,00 versteigert wurde.
