Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A mountainous landscape by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting was sold in the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,560.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 5,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A mountainous landscape von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.560,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 5.975,00 versteigert wurde.
