Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Flowers by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,920.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 5,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.920,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 5.975,00 versteigert wurde.
