Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Zeeduivels in aquarium by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting for EUR 192.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 5,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Zeeduivels in aquarium von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting für EUR 192,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.975,00.
