Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work A still life with flowers on the table by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting for EUR 840.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jeanne Bieruma Oosting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 5,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A still life with flowers on the table von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting für EUR 840,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeanne Bieruma Oosting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interieur (Lauswolt) - mijn zitkamer im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.975,00.
