Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Erotic Scenes by Jean-Michel Moreau was sold in the Erotic: Passion & Desire auction at Sothebys in London in February 2017. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,314.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Moreau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fête De Nuit in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 92,148.17).

Die Arbeit Three Erotic Scenes von Jean-Michel Moreau wurde im Februar 2017 in der Auktion Erotic: Passion & Desire bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.314,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Moreau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fête De Nuit im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.000,00 (€ 92.148,17).
