This artwork by Jean-Michel Moreau achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July this year. In the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Two mounted soldiers in combat sold for GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,410.11) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Moreau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fête De Nuit in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 92,148.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Michel Moreau erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit Two mounted soldiers in combat für GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.410,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Moreau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fête De Nuit im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.000,00 (€ 92.148,17).
