Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Erotic Scenes by Jean-Michel Moreau was sold in the Erotic: Passion & Desire Online auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,103.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Moreau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fête De Nuit in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 92,148.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Erotic Scenes von Jean-Michel Moreau wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Erotic: Passion & Desire Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.103,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Moreau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fête De Nuit im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.000,00 (€ 92.148,17).
