Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Tableau N°39, 1980-1990 by Jean-Marc Bustamante was worth EUR 21,250.00 to a buyer in May 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Collection Marion Lambert at Christies in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jean-Marc Bustamante; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot State of grace sold at auction in May this year with the realized price of EUR 40,320.00.

Die Arbeit Tableau N°39, 1980-1990 von Jean-Marc Bustamante war einem Käufer im Mai 2021 EUR 21.250,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Collection Marion Lambert bei Christies in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jean-Marc Bustamante; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit State of grace im Mai diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 40.320,00.
