Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Le Quartier Neuf by Jean-Emile Laboureur was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Christies in New York in July 2014. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,493.65) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Emile Laboureur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Semaphore, 1923 in February 2007 with an auction result of EUR 73,993.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Le Quartier Neuf von Jean-Emile Laboureur wurde im Juli 2014 in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.493,65) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Emile Laboureur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Semaphore, 1923 im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.993,00.
