Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Koller held the auction Impressionismus & Moderne, which included the work Doppelporträt in Blau. by Jean Crotti. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 4,375.00 (€ 3,967.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Crotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les forces mécaniques de l'amour en mouvement in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,032,500.00 (€ 867,792.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Koller die Auktion Impressionismus & Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Doppelporträt in Blau. von Jean Crotti zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 4.375,00 (€ 3.967,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Crotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les forces mécaniques de l'amour en mouvement im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.032.500,00 (€ 867.792,91).
