Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern Art | New York, which included the work Figures abstraites by Jean Crotti. The price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,453.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Crotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les forces mécaniques de l'amour en mouvement in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,032,500.00 (€ 867,792.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures abstraites von Jean Crotti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.453,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Crotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les forces mécaniques de l'amour en mouvement im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.032.500,00 (€ 867.792,91).
