Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work The Conversation I, II and III by Jaume Plensa. The price achieved of USD 998,000.00 (€ 930,015.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Other works by Jaume Plensa have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work Twins I and II was auctioned for USD 1,130,000.00 (€ 1,025,501.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Conversation I, II and III von Jaume Plensa zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 998.000,00 (€ 930.015,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jaume Plensa konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2019 die Arbeit Twins I and II für USD 1.130.000,00 (€ 1.025.501,41) versteigert.
