Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Artcurial held the auction Twenty One Contemporary, which included the work Shadow (study) XVII - 2010 by Jaume Plensa. It changed hands for a price of EUR 19,680.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jaume Plensa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twins I and II in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,130,000.00 (€ 1,025,501.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Twenty One Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shadow (study) XVII - 2010 von Jaume Plensa zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 19.680,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jaume Plensa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twins I and II im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.130.000,00 (€ 1.025.501,41).
