signed, dated `1995' and numbered 10/45 in pencil, published by Universal Limited Art Editions, West Islip, New York (with their blindstamp), occasional creasing (presumably inherent to construction), in very good condition.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction Editions, which included the work Clown Suit by Jane Hammond. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,034.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jane Hammond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Malcolm Wright Vase With Dogwood, Ocotillo And Orioles in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,699.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Clown Suit von Jane Hammond zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.034,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jane Hammond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Malcolm Wright Vase With Dogwood, Ocotillo And Orioles im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.699,32).
