This artwork by Jan Worst achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2012. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Labyrinth sold for EUR 39,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Worst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of the Ponte Rotto in Rome (recto); View of the Ponte dei Quattro Capi or Ponte Fabricio over the Tiber (verso), which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 68,500.00 (€ 86,400.04).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Worst erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Labyrinth für EUR 39.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Worst mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View of the Ponte Rotto in Rome (recto); View of the Ponte dei Quattro Capi or Ponte Fabricio over the Tiber (verso) beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 68.500,00 (€ 86.400,04) versteigert wurde.
