Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year VAN HAM held the auction From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human, which included the work The Mirror. by Jan Worst. It changed hands for a price of EUR 11,880.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Worst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of the Ponte Rotto in Rome (recto); View of the Ponte dei Quattro Capi or Ponte Fabricio over the Tiber (verso) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 68,500.00 (€ 86,400.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Mirror. von Jan Worst zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 11.880,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Worst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of the Ponte Rotto in Rome (recto); View of the Ponte dei Quattro Capi or Ponte Fabricio over the Tiber (verso) im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.500,00 (€ 86.400,04).
