Sold at the lower estimate price
This work without title by Jan Worst was sold in the TwentiethCentury Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Worst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of the Ponte Rotto in Rome (recto); View of the Ponte dei Quattro Capi or Ponte Fabricio over the Tiber (verso) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 68,500.00 (€ 86,400.04).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jan Worst wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion TwentiethCentury Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Worst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of the Ponte Rotto in Rome (recto); View of the Ponte dei Quattro Capi or Ponte Fabricio over the Tiber (verso) im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.500,00 (€ 86.400,04).
