Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Leda and the Swan by Jan Wolkers was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Jan Wolkers have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2008 the work without title was auctioned for EUR 5,000.00.
