Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Jan Wolkers was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,031.50. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Wolkers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 5,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jan Wolkers kam im Juni 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.031,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Wolkers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 5.000,00 versteigert wurde.
