In the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction, the work A Yard sold for EUR 2,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van der Zee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (West 127th Street, Harlem), 1932 in December 2011 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 40,468.67).
