In September 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Children of War II (#2) by Jammie Holmes. The »bidding war« ended at USD 50,400.00 (€ 43,534.59), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jammie Holmes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First Birthday, which sold at auction in May 2021 for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 158,561.59).

Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Children of War II (#2) von Jammie Holmes zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 43.534,59) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jammie Holmes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit First Birthday beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 158.561,59) versteigert wurde.
