Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cream Roses by James Stuart Park was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Sothebys in London in September 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,951.67). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Stuart Park - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yellow and pink roses, which sold at auction in October 2003 for GBP 18,522.50 (€ 27,053.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cream Roses von James Stuart Park wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.951,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von James Stuart Park mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yellow and pink roses beobachtet, die im Oktober 2003 für GBP 18.522,50 (€ 27.053,80) versteigert wurde.
