Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Pink and white roses oval form sight size 49.2 x 39.4cm (19 3/8 x 15 1/2in), stretcher size 51 x 41cm (20 1/16 x 16 1/8in). by James Stuart Park for GBP 956.25 (€ 1,112.60). This price was achieved in the auction Scottish Art at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Stuart Park achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow and pink roses in October 2003 with an auction result of GBP 18,522.50 (€ 27,053.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pink and white roses oval form sight size 49.2 x 39.4cm (19 3/8 x 15 1/2in), stretcher size 51 x 41cm (20 1/16 x 16 1/8in). von James Stuart Park für GBP 956,25 (€ 1.112,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Stuart Park erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow and pink roses im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.522,50 (€ 27.053,80).
