Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Promenade dans la neige by James Tissot was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in January 2024. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,176.00 (€ 1,901.77). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Tissot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Visit To The Yacht (La Visite Au Navire) in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 2,210,500.00 (€ 2,658,888.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Promenade dans la neige von James Tissot kam im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.176,00 (€ 1.901,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Tissot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Visit To The Yacht (La Visite Au Navire) im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.210.500,00 (€ 2.658.888,67).
