Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Garn Lake, With Arenig In The Distance by James Dickson Innes was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,256.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Dickson Innes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Camden Town: Night Scene in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 51,845.73).

Die Arbeit Garn Lake, With Arenig In The Distance von James Dickson Innes kam im September 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.256,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Dickson Innes erzielen.
