The price achieved of GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,865.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by James Dickson Innes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Camden Town: Night Scene in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 51,845.73).
