In the Modern & Post-War British Art auction, the work Afternoon, Ronda, Spain sold for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,956.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by James Dickson Innes; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Camden Town: Night Scene sold at auction in March 2015 with the realized price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 51,845.73).
