In the Modern British & Irish Art auction, the work At The Theatre sold for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,419.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Dickson Innes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Camden Town: Night Scene in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 51,845.73).
