Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Jakob Steinhardt was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2006. The price achieved of USD 4,200.00 (€ 3,327.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jakob Steinhardt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Flood in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 67,189.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Jakob Steinhardt kam im April 2006 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.200,00 (€ 3.327,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jakob Steinhardt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Flood im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 67.189,14).
