Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jerusalem by Jakob Steinhardt was sold in the Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2013. The price achieved of SEK 55,000.00 (€ 6,210.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jakob Steinhardt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Flood in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 67,189.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jerusalem von Jakob Steinhardt wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 6.210,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jakob Steinhardt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Flood im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 67.189,14).
