Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dorfszene by Jakob Steinhardt was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2006. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,400.00 (€ 9,030.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jakob Steinhardt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Flood in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 67,189.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dorfszene von Jakob Steinhardt kam im April 2006 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.400,00 (€ 9.030,42) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 9.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jakob Steinhardt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Flood im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 67.189,14).
