Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A wooded landscape with travellers on a track by Jacques d'Arthois. The price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacques d'Arthois have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded landscape with figures and a dog on a path, with a river and a castle in the distance in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 58,750.00 (€ 74,102.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wooded landscape with travellers on a track von Jacques d'Arthois zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques d'Arthois auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A wooded landscape with figures and a dog on a path, with a river and a castle in the distance im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.750,00 (€ 74.102,22).
