In the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction, the work The Shed sold for EUR 3,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A quiet afternoon in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 41,125.00 (€ 17,995.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations wurde die Arbeit The Shed für EUR 3.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A quiet afternoon im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 41.125,00 (€ 17.995,50).
