Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work A Cottage Interior With Mother And Child by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,750.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A quiet afternoon in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 41,125.00 (€ 17,995.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Cottage Interior With Mother And Child von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.750,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A quiet afternoon im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 41.125,00 (€ 17.995,50).
