Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century Paintings auction, the work Dutch Children In The Fields changed hands for EUR 3,750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A quiet afternoon in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 41,125.00 (€ 17,995.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever konnte im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Dutch Children In The Fields für EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A quiet afternoon im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 41.125,00 (€ 17.995,50).
