Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dutch feeding The Goat by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever was sold in the 19th Century Paintings & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A quiet afternoon, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 41,125.00 (€ 17,995.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dutch feeding The Goat von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 7.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A quiet afternoon beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 41.125,00 (€ 17.995,50) versteigert wurde.
