This work without title by Jacob Kassay was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2017. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,465.25) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Kassay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 232,985.45).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jacob Kassay kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.465,25) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Kassay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 232.985,45).
