This work without title by Jacob Kassay was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2018. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,302.19) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Kassay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 232,985.45).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jacob Kassay wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.302,19) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Kassay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 232.985,45).
