The work "Claes Tillman" (1765-1814) by Jacob Axel Gillberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2014. It achieved a price of SEK 5,000.00 (€ 546.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Axel Gillberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A young Hussar, facing right in fur-bordered blue coat with gold brocade, white ribbon tied on his left elbow, red waistcoat with gold loops, blue and gold sash, lace cravat and black stock, fair hair dressed in plaits, beard in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,105.22).

Die Arbeit "Claes Tillman" (1765-1814) von Jacob Axel Gillberg kam im Juni 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 5.000,00 (€ 546,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Axel Gillberg erzielen.
