Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (P18) by Jackson Pollock was auctioned at Christies in New York in April this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,847.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jackson Pollock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Number 17, 1951 in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 61,161,000.00 (€ 54,187,117.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (P18) von Jackson Pollock kam im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.847,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jackson Pollock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Number 17, 1951 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 61.161.000,00 (€ 54.187.117,92).
