Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale Session I, which included this untitled work by Jack Goldstein. The price achieved of USD 365,000.00 (€ 331,999.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Other works by Jack Goldstein have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work without title was auctioned for USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale Session I durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jack Goldstein zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 365.000,00 (€ 331.999,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jack Goldstein konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2012 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42) versteigert.
